Proposed services – Christmas Day 2010

Bus Éireann is to operate a limited inter-city service to and from Dublin Airport and Dublin (Busaras) on Christmas Day 2010 to main destinations around the island. Services will operate to and from Limerick, Belfast, Cork, Galway, Rosslare Harbour, Ballina, Sligo, Waterford, Letterkenny, Donegal, Clonmel, and Derry. All services will operate via the main towns en-route.

Bus Éireann, in consultation with the Dublin Airport Authority and other transport agencies, is operating these services to facilitate people who may be arriving into Dublin city centre or Dublin Airport on Christmas Day. (Services subject to weather & road conditions).

All services would depart Busáras and operate via Dublin Airport. Departure times as follows:

Dublin/Limerick 09.00, 13.00, 15.00
Limerick/Dublin 14.00, 18.00, 20.00
Dublin/Belfast 09.00, 12.00, 14.00
Belfast/Dublin 13.00, 16.00, 18.00
Dublin/Cork 10.00, 14.00
Cork/Dublin 16.00, 20.00
Dublin/Galway 09.00, 12.00, 16.00
Galway/Dublin 14.00, 17.00, 21.00
Dublin/Rosslare Europort 09.00, 12.00, 15.00
Rosslare Europort/Dublin 14.00, 17.00, 20.00
Dublin/Ballina 10:00
Ballina/Dublin 15.00
Dublin/Sligo 13:00
Sligo/Dublin 18.00
Dublin/Waterford 11:00
Waterford/Dublin 16.00
Dublin/Letterkenny 11.00, 14.00
Letterkenny/Dublin 16.00, 19.00
Dublin/Donegal 10.00, 14.00
Donegal/Dublin 15.00, 19.00

* All the above departures will serve the main towns enroute. Return trips will also serve Dublin Airport en route to Busaras.

Luas Travel Update

There is no Luas service on Christmas Day.

Luas services resume on St Stephen's Day, Sunday December 26th 2010 at 9am and trams operate till 11.30pm
