Default [04/07/2010] Portarlington incident

From the IE website:
Bus shuttle in operation between Portarlington and by Press Office
This is due to an incident on the line

Nothing else. They could not even finish the sentence. Or mention what services were impacted? When did this happen? (today/yesterday), etc. How can IE consistently get the communication piece wrong? Basic stuff really.

according to rte there was a fatality on the line near mountrath and that there was knockon effects to cork, kerry and limerick services.

Services are back running now but with delays of 120+ minutes according to irish rail.

On a side note my heart goes out to family and friends of the person who lost their life alongwith the driver.

I think the fatality was this evening, whereas the original posting was in relation to this morning.
