Supporters travelling to the Ireland v France Six Nations rugby international on Saturday 7th February are advised to book their rail tickets now, as demand is expected to be high around the network on this date.

As well as scheduled Intercity services on all routes to and from Dublin, a number of additional services will operate, including:

10.25hrs Limerick to Heuston

20.50hrs Heuston to Limerick

21.20hrs Heuston to Limerick

20.25hrs Heuston to Galway

20.30hrs Heuston to Cork

All services - both scheduled and additional specials - can now be booked from our homepage www.irishrail.ie



Commuter services

As well as the scheduled timetable, the following additional services will operate on the Maynooth commuter line before and after the match.

15.15hrs Maynooth to Connolly

15.45hrs Maynooth to Connolly

18.47hrs Connolly to Maynooth

19.15hrs Connolly to Maynooth



Northern Ireland

Supporters travelling from Northern Ireland to the match are advised that Translink are operating a number of additional services - full details are available at www.translink.co.uk

Well the least Irish Rail could do is provide the direct link http://www.translink.co.uk/SpecialEvent.asp

Note NIR have 3 specials for both 6 nations games and they are on sale now, they always run 3 specials

The good news is Irish Rail have killed the dedicated special train in favour of adding the specials into the normal timetable, the passenger choosing from the entire timetable. Student, weekender and farecards are also valid

Looking at that notice a bit more its going to be tight for rosslare and sligo passengers to get back to connolly

doesnt the evening train to rosslare though call at drumcondra making life easier for passengers
