Default [8-8-2008] 17:25 Dublin Limerick failure

Quote:
The 17.25hrs Heuston to Limerick service was delayed by 112 minutes due to a I.C.R. failure two miles north of Grange. A substitute Railcar completed the journey to Limerick Station.
The 18.00hrs Heuston to Cork service was delayed by 86 minutes due to the earlier I.C.R. failure of the 17.25hrs service to Limerick two miles north of Grange.
The 18.30hrs Heuston to Tralee service was delayed by 70 minutes due to the earlier I.C.R. failure of the 17.25hrs service to Limerick two miles north of Grange.
Important lesson, just because its new doesn't mean it less likely to leave you in a field

No notice appeared during the disruption on the IE website, feel sorry for anyone onboard and their family and friends waiting for them on the other end

WHat's the source for the quote? And what is I.C.R? I think I know, but those 22Ks have so many names, one is beginning to be bewildered!

Thats thanks to Irish Rail

ICR is a intercity railcar, the type of train that broke isn't really important
