Post Free Parking - 2013

Evening all,

For the entire year of 2013, there will be free parking at all East Cork stations: Midleton, Carrigtwohill, Glounthaune & Little Island.

It was advertised in a local news journal.

I cannot speak for Glounthaune or Little Island, but the only indication that there is free parking at the other stations is from a small note on the notice board on the platforms. All signs in the carpark still have "Have you payed and displayed?". Also, all car park ticket machines are operating. Normally these would be covered and have notes on them.

Default Little Island shuttle bus

I wonder is the Little Island shuttle bus still running (linking the station with Eastgate Retail Park, Little Island Industrial Estate & Euro Business Park).

East Cork stations: Midleton, Carrigtwohill, Glounthaune & Little Island the perk is most suitable for staff who drive but do not have access to an on-site car park, the perk is free to use. In most cases, the benefit will remove the hassle of having to find a parking space.
