Default [31/10/2008] 16:00 Connolly Sligo

Some genius in Irish Rail has decided to send out a 3 coach train on the 16:00. Bear in mind back in the old days even a 9 coach train wasn't sufficent

Edit: Its getting painfully full onboard

I was on it.

Crazy. Was in the top area behind driver door and we had 10 people and the tea trolley in that area.

The tea trolley person insisted that he got his trolley on by telling people that they will have to move so it could get on.

No idea why as he wasn't going anywhere with it and only taking up space.

Sure some people didn't even get on in Drumcondra.

Surely they knew about this earlier and could have got a 8 set 29 to replace it or got a another 3 carriages somewhere else.

Imagine if you lived in Maynooth and was going to Sligo and couldn't get on that train what train would people do?

Surely the 5 will have to stop at all the stops

Its only Friday that it becomes a problem, 16:00 is the student express escape option from Dublin, the stop in Drumcondra is to pick up students
