Maynooth Services are currently Suspended due to an earlier failure by Corporate Communications

Due to the failure of the 11:05hrs Connolly - Sligo service at Ashtown, Maynooth and Docklands services are currently suspended until further notice. Dublin Bus are currently honouring all rail tickets Iarnród Éireann apologises for any inconvenience this may cause

Correct me if i'm wrong thats the 29k that will run tonights 16:40 Connolly Gorey.

2/10/2008 Iarnrod Eireann: Disruption to Maynooth and Dublin Docklands Services
The 11:05 Connolly to Sligo train has broken down at Ashbourne.

As a result, all Irish Rail Maynooth and Dublin Docklands services have been suspended until further notice.

Due to the failure of the 11:05hrs Connolly - Sligo service at Ashtown, Maynooth and Docklands services are currently suspended until further notice. Dublin Bus are currently honouring all rail tickets 11:00hrs service Sligo - Connolly will terminate in Maynooth with a bus transfer to Connolly 13:05hrs Connolly - Sligo service will begin from Maynooth with a bus transfer from Connolly to Maynooth Iarnród Éireann apologises for any inconvenience this may cause

This sounds a bit serious for a train failure, seems to be taking a long time!

Over 2 hours to sort out a failed train is ridiculous. No reason services could not be maintained Maynooth - Consilla

in all fairness I wouldn't think a service from maynooth to clonsilla would be much use considering most people would be going to or from the City.

But could they not have maintained a limited service with single line running?

Much better bus service into the city from Clonsilla. Most people working in Intel in Leixlip live in Maynooth.

Single line running isn't workable with all the level crossings
