Irish Rail is making no progress on the agreed fare matrix changes, it wouldn't make a huge difference in this case but it would in general reduce fares in many short/medium distance categories

So for example

Dublin Thurles falls from a L to J http://www.railusers.ie/passenger_in...1=Submit+Query

Dublin Newbridge falls from a D to C http://www.railusers.ie/passenger_in...1=Submit+Query

Needless to say to took us only a matter of an hour or so to write and test the code for the new distance bands and we can switch over fully in a matter of seconds. Irish Rail wants a new ticket machine...
