The Enterprise system is so different. I like the progress map on boatd the Enterprise where there's a map of ireland and a LED for each station, and when you pass Malahide for example, the LED turns green. Useful to have though not essential.

Next Station Gorey, Guaire. I have to agree if there was a bell of some sort before the announcement it would be noticable for the customer to know when the announcements are about to come on. Even for Commuter trains there should be something inthe way of
"Bell, Attention please, The next station is Gorey, Guaire" Simple and to the point!! But does this fall into the trap of the short announcement rule on some other thread. I like the Enterprise map so you know where you are. The flashing announcement on the PA screen arriving into a station is clever, The time in the corner. Its the simple things that count!!
