Kudos to the Carlow manager. That was nice gesture, considering that it's not his fault - at least he was doing what he could to make things a bit better for the passengers. This is the sort of Irish Rail we want.

However, the manager responsible for the Waterford gatekeeper should be fired (along with the mythical gatekeeper!) for not taking responsibility for the resolution of this ongoing issue.
