Always tends to go south the next day
TBH not many days go by when there is not a signal/points fault somewhere accross the network and a large amount of the signilling system is reasonably new so the level of faults isn't acceptable.

I have had more faults in the last month than ever before. Tonight the 18.20 didn't depart Waterford West until 18.45 (25 mins late) and then on approch to Ballyhale we were told there would be another delay because the points were not after changing from the loop back to the main line 25 minutes after the 16.35 train cleared them and then delaying both trains again. Yet with these delays we still arrived in Heuston 2 minutes early. Can't wait to see the Feb OTP stats accross the network. Last Friday the 06.00 was delayed due to another points fault at Waterford West.
