There may be more trains over the Dodder bridge than over Malahide viaduct but peak traffic wouldn't be massively different as the northern commuter trains are still overloaded to a degree not typically seen on DART. Also daily revenue loss would be much less as the vast bulk of passengers crossing the Dodder are making short journeys commanding very modest fares.
In addition the duration of the disruption will be comparatively modest compared to Malahide.
