Default Trains passing at speed through Heuston Station!!!

Apparently they do. While walking along platform 2 yesterday morning, my eagle eyed wife, Louise, spotted the signs. "Please stand behind the yellow line, trains may pass at speed." I loved what she said next, "I bloody well hope not." This is such a lazy approach to safety notification. Obviously it makes sense to stand behind the line, only because a train may be in motion, but it'll be fairly slow anyway as it either enters or leaves the platform. But in saying that passengers aren't permitted on the platform at that stage anyway. The only possibility that arises is if passengers are walking to or from platform 1. So the sign should read, "please keep behind the yellow line. Trains may be in motion."

Dippo's the lot of them.

I have a photo, but I think you get the point.
