Ive done enough meetings with IE over the years to deem them a waste of time. "looking into it" should be their advertising slogan. The fact that McHugh attended really shows IEs contempt for these meetings. He lives in Galway, works for southern and western in Heuston and is a verified proponent of the WRC. In fact more vocal about that than his actual remit.Dublin 15 to him is a place he flies over on the approach to Dublin Airport after his two weeks holidays.

Im interested to note Thomas's point about feeder buses being deemed a waste of money. Until this line of thought is extinguished, Dublin will never escape car dependency. Previous feeder bus incarnations were badly thought out and introduced at a time that was vastly different to the one we live in now. The entire concept of feeder buses should not be the remit of a CIE company and while privately operated, it should be subsidised. I don't need to state the benefits to members of this forum.

As for Metro West.......zzzzzzzzzz.

Reality check over. Carry on as you were.
