The demolition of 5 no. existing dwellings, the construction of 199 additional car parking spaces including 12 disabled parking bays, bicycle storage, the realignment of the existing entrance to the R128 Lusk-Rush road and associated site works including site lighting and boundary fencing

Development at Rush & Lusk Railway Station which is a protected structure. The development will consist of the removal of the existing station footbridge, the removal of a timber post supporting the s/w corner of the 'Up' (east) platform canopy, the removal of the glazed timber screen between the ticket hall and the platform, the removal of a window in the platform wall of the waiting room and demolition of the wall below the window opening, demolition of internal walls and partitions, the construction of a new footbridge with associated full accessibility compliant stairs and lifts, the installation of new structure to support the s/w corner of the 'Up' platform canopy, the installation of a glazed screen and automatic sliding doors to the ticket hall, ramped access from ticket hall to platform, and internal reconfiguration to provide dual height ticket windows, enlarged ticket hall and waiting facilities, fully compliant accessible toilet accommodation and waiting areas and reconfigured staff facilities.
