You should seek permission from local staff before taking photographs on railway property, flash photography on platforms is not a good idea. You won't be allowed on the platform without a ticket at Dublin Connolly

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enterprise_(train) / http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coachin...Dietrich_Stock Should explain the more enthusiast related questions

Enterprise is unfortunately quite disappointing for what is the premier rail service on the Island, its slow (slower than it was 20 years ago), prone to breakdowns and disruption. So you have been warned, that said if it is more than 30 minutes late you are entitled to a 25% refund which is very generous by EU standards.

Unlike most of mainland Europe you won't find the two national flags and EU flag displayed at the border which makes it really hard to spot as all that is there is two white posts at 59.6 miles.

The train interior is very European, its actually based on the Eurostar body and interior very SNCF/TGV and quite dark which is quite different from typical Irish trains which are bright.

We would welcome comments from a first time passenger to get a fair/independent appraisal of the experience based on someone used to European standards.
