The reason for the lack of publicity is that until the cash fare increase takes effect next week the leap return fare is more expensive!

Cork/Cobh is 8.50 cash return.

Leap is 4.65 each way

main problem in cork is that buses do not have validators despite the fact that all city services have a standard fare - you have to present the LeapCard to he driver thereby slowing the process

Most of the line in the area is elevated above the road and Carrigaloe offers one of the few main access points for IR staff doing work...
