Apparently Broome was one of the directors of the company that built the Royal Canal. Is Scuab really the irish translation for Mr Broome?

Could see a truck with some sort of piling equipment in the old broadstone line up at the back of Mount Bernard Park off Connaught St. on Tuesday. It is quite mucky down there at the moment.
