Scholar 5-Day Ticket: Validity extended to Saturday 6th June for Leaving Cert students by Corporate Communications

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Iarnród Éireann has extended the validity of this week's Scholar 5-Day ticket, normally valid Monday to Friday only, to include Saturday 6th June, to facilitate Leaving Certificate students sitting the rescheduled English Paper II exam.

The Scholar 5-Day ticket is available to students over 16 years of age, in full-time second-level education, on the DART and Commuter network.

Students are advised that a normal Saturday timetable is in operation on Saturday 6th June, and to check Saturday times before travelling.

But they won't work the gates at the stations

And not many people would have bought a five day ticket anyway — they would only have been planning on going in for three days, so they would have bought a cheaper three day ticket or (for B-level fares) day returns.
