Really easy a train every 15 minutes to Heuston peak, probably every 30 minutes off peak, calling all stations. Additional 1 to 2 trains per hour from Portlaoise/Athy stop Hazelhatch then non stop in to Heuston. Its in the public domain, trivial to get it

Sallins, Newbridge and Kildare where culled back in 2003 nothing to do with current recession

Hi all

2. There is an attractive woman that gets the train from Hazelhatch most days. Black hair and funny square shaped glass. Usually has a pair of black pointy boots, respectably dressed. Anyone know her?

Thanks.

Paul

Yeah, I know of her and its actually a him. Stay clear my friend.

You got a personal issue, see http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forum...hp?forumid=127

hi

thanks for that

is the timetable ready for when the works are complete? i read all the newsarticles and press releases from IR saying trains every 15 mins, but a few of us just wanted to know if there was anything more concrete

not to worry if you are not aware of any

thanks

It will be every 15 minutes, 4 trains per hour 15 minutes apart

As it stands, likely pattern out of Heuston is xx:05, xx:20, xx:35, xx:50

Anybody notice that Hazelhatch is a bit dangerous when its dark? The ground is uneven and its badly lit. I think its only a matter of time before somebody trips and gets hurt there. Could they not turn on the new lights???

Ask at the ticket office or contact them whatever otherway you can. It might be as simple as them not realising that all the lights aren't on.

Do you still have to do the mad detour from the car park to the platforms?

ThomasJ 13-11-2008 18:28

As far as I know there isn't one, only a porticabin that opens in the morning. Might be wrong.

hoopsheff 19-11-2008 08:30

yeah...only the portacabin thats open in the morning....dont think the other lights are connected yet.

hoopsheff 13-03-2009 13:09

does anybody know when Hazelhatch Station is due to be finished?

Mark Gleeson 25-04-2009 19:45

New station was staffed and open for business today

Forgot about those, I have Docklands and Phoenix park mugs hiding away somewhere at home! :D

i saw yesterday that you can now get a 4 week parking ticket for 30 euros...still not worth my while. I can get parking in town for 7 eur a day in a couple of places (if i cant get a spot in work)...weekly return to connolly is 25.50..+ 8 for parking = 33.50 a week vs 35 for parking....not much of a choice there...i wont be constrained by a poor timetable / late running of trains.

ACustomer 30-04-2009 08:35

hoopsheff: your comparison seems to ignore the cost of the fuel used to drive to town, never mind the other wear-and-tear items which it all too easy to forget.

hoopsheff 04-05-2009 10:16

fuel costs are minimal..about 5 /10 a week max. I work 5 days a week so I would still be saving the difference on the parking (i used 5 days to illustrate the similarity of the charges).

as for wear and tear...the cost of the car has already been incurred. It will depreciate in value regardless of whether i drive it or not (although at a lower rate if i dont drive it..but not that much lower!)

The official opening of Hazelhatch is this Friday May 8th

Its great to see despite the precarious position of the finances in Irish Rail that money is being wasted on yet another bronze plaque
