Anyone up for a pint?

Well, it is the canteen and as I'm way down the line I thought it would be nice if there was a P11 social evening where we could all actually see what we look like.

Assuming that there hasn't always been loads and I've missed them all......

So, venues and dates, I'm pushing for a Saturday night as I'll be up anyway for the matches in Parnell park........

Donal Quinn 02-03-2006 14:41

isn't there something on the 25th march?

Derek Wheeler 02-03-2006 20:30

Best goddamn post in ages!

Were taking part in a Transport seminar on March 25th. It finishes at 1pm. So some of the P11 crew will be around all day.

I think we need it and fast. So tell girlfriends/wives/boyfriends whatever.

Few beers and a few better rants.

Time and date of course is open to debate.

TomB 03-03-2006 10:50

Or, if anyone can't make the 25th, we could organise beers on a weeknight after work as well.

What do people think?

Maskhadov 03-03-2006 12:53

maybe you might wanna give everyone a heads up about that

Thomas J Stamp 03-03-2006 13:38

I'll be around for sure on the 25th march.....

In fact, I think the Austrialian Pink Floyd are playing the point that night.

Two reasons to head up.

Derek Wheeler 03-03-2006 23:22

Lets not muck around on this thread.

March 25th it is.

Who can make it?

Less of that, "Im oppressed at weekends" talk from you Bibby. When you're married, she won't care where you go at weekends!

Thomas J Stamp 07-03-2006 12:42

I'm Very oppressed at weekends, but I'm given clearance for the 25th so it's a valuable date!!!

Venue, City Centre I suppose?

Or, the Galway Hooker in Heuston (not intended to be serious)

I propose Doyle's in College Green/Fleet Street as a starter anyway.

James Shields 07-03-2006 15:11

I'll be in America testing public transport of a different kind - ski lifts.

Derek Wheeler 07-03-2006 18:54

Thats the second time you've mentioned the ski holiday James.

Yes, Im getting Jealous.:)

Thomas J Stamp 08-03-2006 11:09

It's a skiing holiday? I thought he was an international ski-lift fixer.......

sean 08-03-2006 14:20

25th? Sounds like fun.

Thomas J Stamp 19-03-2006 20:23

Shameless bump of my own thread.

So far it looks like Derek and Sean and Moi?

Mark 20-03-2006 09:27

There'll be many more.

Derek Wheeler 23-03-2006 00:55

Okay.

Its on. We should be finished in the Ashling hotel by 2pm. Beers start at 3pm. Somebody please name a venue.

Im in. MarkG is in, Thomas J is in, Sean looks good, Mark??

What about others?

sean 23-03-2006 03:01

We must do some pamphleteering on that day. Haven't done that in a while.

Thomas J Stamp 24-03-2006 15:15

3pm? Will someone please act for me in the divorce? Mrs Thomasjstamp has her car in the garage tomorrow and so I'll be a bit late. Any venue yet?

Alas, I'm facing female oppression of a different kind this weekend -- got to go home for Mammy's day. Going in my new car as well  -- just to see if I can beat the train...
