Bray Head Old Cable Car
 
just read some website that said there was once a cable car or something along those lines going to the top of Bray Head. can anyone confirm that? if so any photos ?:D

There was and bits of it left, until quite recently there where clear evidence, its a nasty climb but worth it

There was in fact a train station under the bridge which leads to Bray head

The cable car on Bray head only brought you half way up to an area known as the eagles nest. (It covered the steepest part of the ascent and then left you with an easier climb to the top) It was built in the 1950s. Don't no when it closed. The arrival section at the top end was in place the last time I was there, beside a house that is privately owned.
