Means no service Carrick on Suir - Waterford either
As is typical Irish Rail saying nothing about this |
Perhaps there ought to be a contractual requirement (between the NTA and Irish Rail) for information at times of disruption to include all affected lines/services (am assuming that there is no such requirement at present).
|
There is a vague requirement but its typical of poor procedures and lack of network knowledge
Anyone for bus transfers from Manulla Junction... |

Ok so Waterford was/is (or will be) flooded - so what prevents services running to/from Thomastown ?

Also I think services would have to operate to ballyhale and then back to Kilkenny as they could not get signal clearance at Thomastown with it only being one platform and there bieng no signal at the end of the platform heading for Waterford which results in a signal block until Ballyhale. Someone may be able to explain it better. |
bus transfers in operated since 09.00.

There is still ongoing delays departing/arrived in Waterford after the flooding on Thursday.
Not that flooding wouldn't of caused the same damage to the signals/points but why was mini CTC only done to Waterford West? I'm sure speeds on approch/departure would be helped if it was done correctly from day 1. |
