[18/01/2010] Southbound Delays through Connolly 7-10am

Does anyone know why Southbound Maynooth/Northern suburban/DART services were subject to 20-30 minute delays this morning? There were no announcements on the 06.30 Dundalk to Bray service, or at the platforms. The delay seemed to occur outside of Connolly, but we crawled all the way from Malahide.
There was nothing on the Irish Rail website, but AA Roadwatch were blaming the failure of the 07.35 Connolly-Belfast.
However, the delays impacted services right out to 10am, so anyone anything definite on what went wrong this morning?

Southbound delays

The 06:30 Dundalk - Bray is delayed every morning since the new timetable started eventhough we leave Dundalk 5 mins earlier. I have emailed IR to complain but surprise surprise no one has bothered to reply.

Email

If you email in via the 'contact us' section of the Irish Rail website, and your complaint was about the timetable, then it will have gone to the Service Planning Manager, and unless you asked for a response, I doubt you will ever hear anything back.
I did the same, but I kept a copy of my email, which I am going to put in writing tomorrow to him, requesting a written response.

That suburban service is slotted in directly behind a DART, hence has the longest journey time between Malahide and Connolly of any morning suburban service.
