DART services between Bray and Greystones were suspended this afternoon due to extensive damage to overhead lines.

Services between the stations aren't expected to resume until lunchtime tomorrow at the earliest.

Buses are currently operating between the two stations. Services between Dublin and Gorey/Rosslare are also affected.

From the limited information it sounds as if something fairly serious has gone wrong

With the exception of the section from Greystones to the Greystones substation the only access to the line is on foot it ain't easy territory

Monday seems to be the most common day for OHLE faults
