Nope.
Say you were getting off a delayed overcrowded train in the Dark in January the very day IE increased their fares, and were accosted by 4 men wearing black with no name badges or uniform stopping you getting in out of the rain into your car and when challenged as to who they were, refused to say any more than "Revenue protection", I don't see why you should show valuable documents to such a shadowy group.

Why are Ryanair a better customer service organisation ????

Yes, that's ok. But someone who is obviously an irish rail employee but just not wearing a badge is what I ment.
