What time was this at this morn mark?
Heard the sligo train go through porterstown level crossing at 08.36.

I'd love to know, we don't have 100% coverage all the time.

any reason why 08.17 ex maynooth can't run to bray?

A minute early this morning!
They must have heard us.

Something struck me as I waited 12 minutes for the connecting dart.
Why cant this train run on to dun laoighre or bray like the one before it?
As far as I can see it sits in the sidings in GCD for a few hours.
There is always at least a 5 minute gap while this train waits for the 09.15 to maynooth exit the sidings.
Why not just run it a few extra stops?
I'm sure it would help spread out the load between the previous train and itself.
The gap in southbound dart services is there. It can run back empty to GCD outside of rush hour.

Sligo train came through porterstown at 08.35 again this morning.

08.38 ex coolmine 10 mins late into pearse this morning.
4 Station announcements made "Iarnroid Eireann would like to apologise.....this is due to a technical problem with a train at castleknock", not once did the announcement mention how long the delay would be.
Absolutely pointless.

Sligo train passed through Louisa bridge shortly after 8.25 today

ColmmacO 27-11-2009 17:32

It came through coolmine at 08.59 on thursday the 26th.
Must be a new record.
