Limerick V Meath - Saturday 1st August by Corporate Communications

Iarnród Éireann have amended timetables to provide a train service for Limerick supporters from Limerick, Charleville and Limerick Junction for the All Ireland Football qualifier in O' Moore Park, Portlaoise this Saturday 1st August.

A service from Limerick will depart at 15.55hrs arriving into Portlaoise at 17.20hrs.

Three services will operate from Charleville at 15.05hrs, 16.05hrs and 17.05hrs arriving into Portlaoise at approximately 18.15hrs.

A service from Limerick Junction will operate at 16.25hrs.

Return Services

Return services from Portlaoise will operate at 21.30hrs and 22.30hrs to Limerick Junction, Limerick and Charleville.

Please note: Supporters travelling from Limerick must change at Limerck Junction in both directions.



So the 15.05hrs, 16.05hrs and 17.05hrs arriving into Portlaoise at approximately 18.15hrs, interesting....

Thomas put in times from Maynooth in there. Appears IR website finds it hard to display them.

If you are getting one of the trains I recommend the specials as they are usually less packed than the normal trains.

How do you get a train to Portlaoise from Maynooth or northern line?

i agree but if we cant get kildare trains through the tunnel what hope have we of them reversing the maynooth and northern trains and running them through the tunnel ?
