22/6/2009 Irish Rail: Pedestrian Laneway closed at Lansdowne Rd DART Station
• From Saturday 20th June until Tuesday 1st September, the pedestrian lane way at Lansdowne Rd DART Station will be closed.

• The lane way will be closed between Lansdowne Rd and the River Dodder to facilitate the construction of a new forecourt at Lansdowne DART station.

• During the closure pedestrian will be diverted via Lansdowne Rd and the River Dodder walkway between Lansdowne Rd and the Lansdowne Rd Station railway bridge.

It would be helpful for those who have 2 minutes to catch their train to know this when they are going for it for the first time.

Unfortunately couldn't find a proper map to show this! :(

For the moment, you need to use the road bridge.

I knocked something quick together with Google maps.

The red line shows the closed footpath and the yellow route is the alternative - make sure you leave a few minutes to make your way around!

Lane is back open again but nothing to inform passengers that it was reopened.

That would be asking to much I presume
