Iarnród Éireann to run special train services to the Irish Open at Baltray, Co. Louth

Iarnród Éireann is offering a special €10 return train only or €25 return train and admission ticket for customers booking online to attend the 2009 Irish Open at Baltray from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th May. This great value fare offers a 25% reduction on admission to the event and is a stress free and relaxing way to get to one of the year’s biggest sporting events. A €5 return fare is available for children and all under 16s will be admitted free to the event.

Bus Éireann are operating a shuttle service from Drogheda train station to Baltray every 30 minutes each day of the event. The fare payable on the day is €6 return or €4 single. So log onto www.irishrail.ie to book your place to see Padraig Harrington seek his 2nd Irish open in 3 years. Other top Irish golfers also playing at Baltray will include Graham McDowell, Darren Clarke and rising star Rory McIlroy.
