All services North/South and West through Connolly and the loop line are subject to major delays

Delays of 15 minutes already going Northbound

As usual the Irish Rail website is devoid of information

Isn't the website supposed to give so called "real time updates"?

15 minutes' delay on most trains, but crowding will be a big issue for a while until the backlog is cleared.

There was also the gates at Merrion where hit around 3.30 which caused around 30 minute delay

If you're referring to the 'real time information' page for Dart & Suburban rail, it's broken in many ways:
- The current time is often wrong, by up to 3 minutes that I've seen
- The 'Due in' column seems to be calculated by subtracting the current (wrong) time from the ETA (correct?) time, thus this is also wrong
- Once the current (wrong) time is later than the 'Scheduled' time, the train is removed from the list. Even if it's running late and won't arrive in the station for another 10 minutes. Or if the 'current' time is fast, the train is removed from the list before it's even due.
- I'm not sure about the ETA time either. I've gone for trains on the basis of this and either been waiting longer than I should or almost missed them.
- Trains which haven't yet started their journey seem to always be shown as being on time, even if there's a major problem which makes it impossible for them to be on time
- And most of all, the system can't cope with any kind of major delay without manual intervention. I've checked the system before leaving work, gone to the station to find delays of 30 or 40 minutes, gone back to work, and seen the 'realtime' system showing everything as OK until it's corrected 30 minutes later.

And that's one of the reasons for this forum ;)

I wonder will they be using that newly-minted law to give 3 penalty points to the guy who hit the bridge.
