Sandyford Luas Stop is being upgraded to facilitate the construction and operation of the Luas Green Line extension to Cherrywood (Line B1). The next phase of these works is currently underway and work will commence on the inbound (road side) platform at the end of January 2009. Hoarding will be erected though a section of the inbound platform will remain open to passengers until completion of the works. Passengers are requested to follow the directional signs on display. Please ensure you stay away from the edge of the platforms and observe the signs provided. Further updates will be on www.luas.ie over the duration of the works.

We are happy to say these closures went very smoothly and the Stops were re-opened on time. These Stops were temporarily closed to facilitate the construction of the Luas Green Line Extension to Cherrywood.
