New Translink timetable

The timetable valid from 14.12.08 was released today. The rumoured cuts in service are not taking place. The sole change to Enterprise service is that the 0800 from Belfast stops at Newry Monday to Saturday (leave 0852) and arrives Dublin 1000

Translink has many things wrong with it but they generally keep their passenger charter promise to give 4 weeks notice of timetable changes:

1900 Dublin-Belfast calls additionally to set down only at Lurgan and Lisburn

2010 Belfast-Dublin does not run

Two trains in each direction 1300 and 1600 from each end

For anyone needing a translink rail connection there is a Saturday service operating between Christmas and New Year
