View Full Version : Christmas is coming!
Was in a [sounds like alfresco] store today and their christmas stock is on sale!
Dont tell me after the lousy summer we have had we have four months of this to look forward to! This is madness!

Tesco? Bastards.
As for those bloody automatic checkouts with their ENGLISH accents... **** that.
Pennys on Hentry St have their Christmas section open too. On the 30th of August! The little arson voice inside my head is talking to me :)

Pffffff.... I heard Christmas Party ad.s at Easter and jingle music last month.
ah yes but christmas parties these days in the big hotels tend to be fully booked by september/october its a big market.
But seeing the likes of christmas stock at this time of year ah come on! its getting earlier every year
At least next year there should be no need to take the tree down

May I take this opportunity to wish all of you a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
That's that out of the way.

I'm surprised this doesn't include the quote "Is this a record?" (An IT tradition).

Madam, - I saw the Christmas tree in Brown Thomas's when I had lunch there (as usual) the other day. What a surprise!
But it is not a surprise to find so gratuitous an insult to the Christian religion in present-day Europe. If we cannot rely on the good taste of tradespeople (always in short supply) then we must consider governmental action on such a matter of public concern.
I suggest the Government considers a ban on Christian decorations until the season of Christmas. It is a greater offence to use our Christian faith as a marketing tool than to allow smoking in public places. - Yours, etc,

That just takes the christmas cake!
