I know its the second day in a row this notice has appeared but its better to be forewarned.

Heading in on the train this morning i noticed that the canal on the maynooth line was still very high i have been told the same is with the tolka

A huge amount of rain has fallen in the last few hours on the northside, i am on the way to artane and needless to say im gobsmacked by the amount of torrential rain that fell while i was on the bus. Blanchardstown has had heavy rain for hours this afternoon

Just thought id mention it just in case.

Note that some Luas plaforms are suffering in the current conditions - Abbey Street is toe deep in water with a traffic cone blocking the worst of it.

Well arriving at tara street tonight for the 21:57 i noticed on the board that there were 30-40 minute delays to the two pearse bound trains.

Also at broombridge there were two ie workmen on the platform with shovels in their hands.

If only we'd known on Saturday of the magical bad weather repellent features of a traffic cone! :)
