[22-7-08] Signal failure Dublin area

All northbound and southbound DART and Commuter services are running up to half an hour late due to separate signal failures at Connolly and Blackrock. Plat. 1 at Pearse is packed close to capacity due to the delays hitting Dundalk and Maynooth services. There have been regular announcements at Pearse.

Yep i am glad i am not taking a train home yet. No travel alerts but the connolly real time status [intercity arrivals board] is showing a different story with 30 minute delays to some services.

Arrived on northbound platform at Pearse for the 17.50 Dundalk and way greeted by total chaos, with no one able to move on the platform.

Train didn't arrive until about 18.15.
