View Full Version : [21-7-2008] Sligo and Maynooth Suspended
Does anyone know whats going on with the maynooth line.
On arriving at tara street i heard that the 21:55 ex pearse was cancelled due to an accident on the line.
I couldnt find anything constructive on the irish rail website

IE put the notice up then pulled it, once again they have no clue.
Just heard back to normal with the 23:10 pearse maynooth. There are no trains in maynooth to run the inbound leg

And the reason for the cancellations, generic 'accident' doesn't cut it

Any idea if this will affect tomorrow mornings services?

Tragically someone lost their life at liffey junction.
I was looking back at the howth disruption line thread and good information was relayed.
What was the difference between the two?
Have people been told in this case that services are back to normal or is it enough to delete it?

As I have said before, they need a simple template
What has gone wrong and where, be specific
What has been effected, routes or specific trains
How long will it be before things return to normal
What are the alternative arrangements, bus etc
This train has yet to depart pearse. I think i made a mistake in deciding not to get the bus!
