Dart tickets not valid on dublin bus :(

Im sure this has been mentioned before but why the h*ll are dart tickets bought in machines at dart staions not valid on feeder buses?

Iv never had to use the machines to get a ticket before as iv always bought a monthly ticket but not this month :(

They cost the same price (€2.10) as the once you buy at the desks in the stations, couldnt believe it when the bus driver told me to pay or get off!

The matter has been raised with Irish Rail, no progress

Go to the machine other destinations -> A -> Airport you get a blank

Booking office can always issue the ticket

There is no legal obligation to use the machine if the booking office is closed
