View Full Version : A helpful idea of sorts

I had an idea while on an overcrowded train home today.

Why dont we draft a guid for commuters while on overcrowded services on how to make the journey more barable, such as being polite and helping others out, instead of being animals in the cattle cars that are commuter trains.

We could put this guide book on an ad and buy space on the trains for the add? Ok a bit of an overstretch since this rail users group isnt exactly minted, but its an idea.

Also anyone else catch the ad on the radio that takes off the "Kolkata express" by pretending to be a train driver announcement advicing passengers that there is discounts this weekend in the Mulingar Sheropodists clinic;)

I think write it up and twist some arms to make 'them' print them and put them up.

One good thing I saw in London was jokes on advertising posters to destress people.

Well if it was a collective effort from all commuter lines, and not just from my point of view it would be more helpful.

Im sure we can come up with a 10 point plan, or a commitee about a commitee and consultants on each commitee and then hold a refurendum that we will ignore:p
