Cork Dublin services, Sunday morning 16th December by Corporate Communications

Iarnród Éireann advises customers that due to operational problems, services from Cork to Dublin Heuston will operate at 08.30hrs and 10.30hrs on Sunday 16th December, not 07.30hrs, 09.30hrs and 11.30hrs as advertised.

The 11.00hrs service from Dublin Heuston to Cork is cancelled.

The 08.30hrs Cork to Heuston serves: Mallow (08.52hrs, Charleville 09.07hrs) and Limerick Junction (09.29hrs) arriving in Dublin Heuston at 11.20hrs.

The 10.30hrs Cork to Heuston serves: Mallow (10.52hrs), Charleville (11.07hrs) and Thurles (11.46hrs), arriving in Dublin Heuston at 13.20hrs.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

Just like Westport this again is as a result of Irish Rail management imposing new rosters on drivers without prior agreement

This seems to be routine practice by IE management, it is not the staff at fault, they are simply operating in line with what they have agreed to do

IE management have been aware of this issue since before last week and providing less than 24 hours notice is insulting to the passenger

And with the 0730, 0930 and 1130 services completely booked out I suspect the two trains that did run were completely jammers.
