Hi,
Would just like to bring to your attention a number of recent bike thefts from the bike sheds at Leixlip (Louisa Bridge) Station.
Mine was taken on Monday (details below) but apparently at least 2 others were taken prior to this (over the last 10 days) - and I also noticed another cut lock yesterday.
Mine was a silver coloured Trek 4300 (’07 model) with front and rear disc brakes. It has two orange reflectors on both wheels, which I don’t believe are standard.
It was stolen today (Monday, October 22nd) while I was at work. Annoying thing is that I was so careful with it – even double locked it with really decent locks. Grrr!
It has been reported to the Gardai, and Irish Rail will check the CCTV tomorrow – although they aren’t hopeful. I have the full chassis number and serial number.
Thanks.
