portlaoise line - the future?

are there any plans to increase the frequency of trains going to Portlaoise in the future? I need to travel from Hazelhatch to Portlaoise for work and the service is fairly non existent in the am. does anyone know :confused: what are the plans for this line?

nothing in the new timetable (December 07) for Portlaoise AFAWK..... next years (Dec 08) should being something, Santa style.
