Dublin's James Street has been closed to inbound traffic because of a fire in a building.

GardaÃ* are at the scene of the incident and diversions have been put in place.

Two units of the Dublin Fire Brigade are attending the fire.

It is not thought anyone was inside the derelict building, but the building is being searched.

The Luas Red Line is only running between Connolly and Smithfield and Tallaght and Blackhorse stations.

I can understand why there is a service between Tallaght and Blackhorse. But why not between Connolly and Heuston, as opposed to just Connolly and Blackhorse? Just a little co-ordination of arrivals/departures on the middle road at Heuston: too much to ask?

I heard somewhere today (Friday) that RTE were wrong and Luas was running Connolly - Heuston

any truth in this?
