Been reading the forums since I stopped being a Bus Eireann commuter and upgraded to being an Irish Rail Commuter back in July. Decided to finally join for a bit of craic and to add my €0.02 to discussions and any info anyone has missed out on the Drogheda-Pearse line! :D
I know the train service has it's shortcomings, as do all our public transport systems, but it is a big step up from the bus service - I remember many a dark rainy night on a bypass waiting many hours as buses never arrive or drivers not stopping despite having seats available.
Maybe someday if I win the lotto I can donate the money to Irish Rail to upgrade things :D
Anyhow this lassie must get back to work, so nice to meet you all.
