As usual the 3 days notice

Track Improvement Works - Killonan/Birdhill - Mon 2nd - Sat 7th July by Corporate Communications


Due to Track Improvement Works between Killonan and Birdhill from Mon 2nd to Sat 7th July, the 10.10 service from Ballybrophy to Limerick will be substituted by buses.

Please note a 30-40 minute delay may occur.

Iarnrod Eireann regret any inconvenience this essential work may cause.

I might be tempted to take that wager.....

About this time 2 years ago, I looked at the timetable, thought I'd end up in Limerick at 9ish, but got there at 10 courtesy of a tour of North tipp on a bus.

Timetabled BE services Roscrea-Limerick are faster. Train average timetabled speed 30mph. :mad: The N7 heads in a different direction after that.

yes but after the bus has to through all the back streets of Roscrea and the back roads to Cloughjordan it loses alot of time.
