Strangely IE continue to hide the 21:50 to Cork

Extra Limerick and Galway Services for the Ireland v England rugby match by Corporate Communications


Iarnrod Eireann wish to advise that they are running extra services from Limerick and Galway to and from Heuston station Dublin for the Ireland v England rugby match on Saturday 24th February.

An extra service will leave Limerick at 10.25 hrs returning from Heuston Station at 20.50 hrs due back into Limerick at 23.00hrs.

An extra service will leave Galway at 09.45 hrs returning from Heuston Station at 21.10 hrs.

Passengers intending to travel out of Heuston after 20.00hrs on this day are strongly advised to book their tickets in advance as it is expected that all evening services from Heuston to Limerick and Cork will be booked out before the 24th February.

Lots of signs in railway stations talking about how the special trains on saturday were booked out. An individual in work went along and strolled onto a train at 11:15 in Tullamore without a pre-booked ticket. Loads of space. She got a 4 seater to herself.:confused:
