This is the third overhead line incident in 8 days, it clearly not the overhead wires. It sounds like pantographs are causing problems. The classic wipper blade failure will bring the wire down

DART services are currently suspended between Connolly and Killester due to an overhead line power fault.
The fault is being investigated, and further details will be updated here as soon as possible.
Dublin Bus will accept rail tickets for customers whose journeys are affected.
