Dublin City Marathon takes place on Monday 27th October

The SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon (http://dublinmarathon.ie/) will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 27th October and rail customers should allow extra time in travelling to or from Heuston Station.

Traffic management will be in place to allow access to/from Heuston Station car park, although cars will be held at certain times between 08.50 and 11.00 to facilitate the race. There will also be a number of road closures around the city, for more information go to http://dublinmarathon.ie/traffic-information/

Anyone intending on travelling by rail are advised to double check times before travelling as a Bank Holiday Timetable (http://www.irishrail.ie/news/october-bank-holiday-weekend-service-arrangements) will be in operation.

Finally, we would like to wish all participants, supporters and charities the very best of luck.

Was that Luas update copied verbatim from an official release? I know I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi but a 12 year old could make better use of punctuality.

I suspect it was done by the control room, who seem to be less formal in their writing style.
