I pulled this out of a mains socket this morning:

I came across it before at least a week ago, maybe two, same service & location. I thought at that time it was a device put there by staff to take the socket out of use for whatever reason. At first glance, in the darkness under the table, it looked all-plastic and safe enough so I just left it alone that time and used the other socket of the pair.
It was at seat 41 on 22207; coach G on this morning's 07:22 service Drogheda to Connolly. The socket was switched off (not tripped) but even so it wouldn't be good news if some small and curious fingers had found it first.
