[04/11/2013] All AM services into Connolly delayed

Stuck on a southbound Northern suburban train towards Connolly. Issue seems to be at Howth junction. No announcements on train. Delays presently 15 mins. Earlier Drogheda bound Northern suburban train was also 10 mins late. Any ideas what went wrong this morning?

Yet again DART seems to be all over the place today - the stock excuse of low rail adhesion doesn't really fully cover the mess and seems to be a catch-all for other problems such as an inability to start the days's service at the scheduled time.

I suspect that the day-time transition to/from reduced formations is making a bad situation worse.

There needs to be a review of DART operations given the apparent inability to run even the basic 15 minute interval service to an acceptable standard.
